    Mike Force Game on July 1
    Dr. King sent this RSVP:

    This is a Special Notice to alert players planning to attend the July 1st game at Dr King's home 504 Trail Dr. Moss Landing, Ca. 95039. (internet maps are very good)

    1. The game will start at 1100hrs (11am), therefore it is vital that you are there by 10am. The briefing will start at 1030hrs (10:30am). The game will be 3hrs long with no breaks. Be prepared with what you need to maintain a long game.

    2. The game will be the beginning of a campaign series. The first game will be the "Battle for Four Flags." Two forces will be battling for four objectives and it is important that the two teams are chosen carefully. Those living in the counties of Santa Cruz and Monterey are asked if possible to wear Tiger Stripe BDUs if you choose to play on Mike Force One. Those outside of the area to wear Woodland BDUs for players for Mike Force Two. Mike Force One vs. Mike Force Two. If you desire to be on one team over the other contact: kingsensei@aol or TAZHAN@aol before Sunday. Please keep in mind that we want to balance the forces so the series will be successful.

    3. We have also a little swap meet/flea market for anyone who wants to buy or trade airsoft items. This is a good chance to get rid of those extra items and maybe find something to complete you collection.

    Airsoft is an outstanding way to play action pursuit type games. We are planning to have lots of fun!

    Come and enjoy!

    Mod' P90!
    Russ sent this:

    Hi X,
    Just a quick note and a couple pictures about the New TM P90.
    Feel free to add this info to your site. I haven't posted it anywhere else yet.
    I may also be the first to have actually done this. :}
    I added a long length internal barrel and a suppressor/barrel shroud.

    With these modifications in place, the overall length of the gun is only about 4" longer than an MP5 A4 AEG. The A4 in the picture has an Omega 93R "suppressor" attached.

    The internal barrel is a Systema Sig 550 Tightbore (second longest stock AEG barrel behind the PSG-1!). Adding this barrel was a breeze due to how easy it is to remove the upper receiver from the lower/mechbox.

    The suppressor however was another matter altogether. Buying a suppressor to install is not an inexpensive matter. For this length of barrel you'd need at least a 305mm tube, which costs $60 (plus international shipping!), and then you'd need to find a thread adapter to make it work correctly.

    What I used was a 3/4" PVC pipe connector to fit onto the P90's threaded muzzle break. I then used a length of CPVC pipe, cut to the appropriate length (about 2" longer than the gun's internal barrel) for the outer barrel. A piece of dense, closed cell packing foam served as the internal barrel support near the muzzle of the suppressor and a 3/4" PVC barrel cap, with a hole drilled in the center, for the business end of the unit.

    I used a dremel tool extensively to shave down the inner edges of the tube so the 3/4" connectors would fit correctly. After some slight custom fitting, and a little amount of rubber cement, the unit was complete, except for painting.

    I used some Krylon exterior flat metal spray paint (3 coats) for the base, and covered it with a layer of Testor's dull coat to protect it.

    All told, the whole project took about 5 hours from start to finish, including painting, and cost me about $15 including paint.

    It suppresses nicely, and the internal barrel gives it a higher accuracy than a stock P90. At 120 feet I'm grouping shots the same as I was shooting a stock P90 at 75 feet. However, by adding the long barrel and not upgrading the mechbox internals has caused a drop in FPS. A stock P90 shoots an average of 284fps. My modded P90 shoots about 240fps. So, it looks like an M100 spring is in my future. :}

    All in all, I like the P90's features and style, and having a barrel almost as long as a PSG-1 isn't all that bad either!

    The game that many have requested is
